Living in a world that wasn’t designed for your brain is exhausting. Many neurodivergent people go through life for years wondering why everything feels so much harder for them than it does for everybody else. Without realizing, you may have developed a variety of strategies to help you cope, adapt and push through challenges that you aren’t even aware of.
You feel like you’re always working twice as hard as everyone else just to keep up.
You spend so much energy masking, people-pleasing and trying to be perceived as “normal” that you feel exhausted all the time.
You go through frequent periods of overwhelm, shutdown or complete burnout.
Your inner voice is often shameful, critical or telling you that you’re somehow failing at life.
Social situations feel confusing, awkward and incredibly draining to you.
You have difficult time with organization, task management, motivation and follow through.
You often feel overstimulated or aggravated by things like loud noises, crowds of people, last minute changes and uncertainty.
Whether you’ve just newly discovered that you have neurodivergent mind, have known for years or are still wondering whether neurodivergence may explain some of the challenges you are currently experiencing, our hope is to provide a safe space for you to learn more about yourself and how your mind works so you start supporting yourself successfully.

We offer neuro-affirming therapy that recognizes and respects the full range of neurodivergent experience, including masking, burnout, sensory sensitivity, emotional intensity and executive functioning differences. We draw from a variety of evidence-based therapy approaches and tailor them to how your nervous system actually works, not how you “should” function.
Above all, we prioritize trust, safety and collaboration. For us, the goal of therapy is never to “fix” who you are but rather about understanding your patterns, reducing unnecessary strain and supporting a life that feels more sustainable and at ease.
Helps you notice and reshape thought patterns that may have formed after years of masking and adapting to environments that weren’t designed for you. The focus is on increasing self-understanding and reducing negative self-talk.
Helps you build practical, neurodivergent-friendly skills for navigating emotional intensity, shutdown or overwhelm states and nervous system dysregulation without requiring masking, overextension or other maladaptive coping mechanisms.
Supports your brain in processing possible negative experiences that feel “stuck” or overwhelming, helping you to reduce emotional intensity, reactivity and any lingering activation that can contribute to burnout or shutdown states.
We pride ourselves in offering high-quality online therapy for individuals in Pennsylvania who feel stuck in patterns they can’t seem to change – despite their best efforts to think or work their way through them.
Our work focuses on understanding and healing those underlying wounds together – so you don’t have to settle for coping with symptoms, but can actually change the patterns at the root and move through life feeling more confident, capable and in control.
We follow a no-judgement approach and work with your brain’s natural patterns instead of forcing you into systems that don’t fit how you function.
We go beyond symptom management to understand the deeper patterns, beliefs and survival responses shaping your life today.
You can attend our virtual therapy sessions from wherever you feel safe and comfortable – your home, your car or anywhere you like in Pennsylvania.
We partner with Headway to accept most major insurance plans and provide additional support for out-of-network options.
We know therapy can already feel hard enough to start. Cost and insurance confusion shouldn’t make it harder. That’s why we partner with Headway to accept over 45 insurance plans as in-network providers, including Aetna, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, Carelon, Independence Blue Cross (IBX), Quest and more.
If your insurance isn’t in-network through Headway, you may still be able to receive reimbursement through out-of-network benefits using a service like Mentaya. If you’re unsure how any of this works, we can walk you through your options and help you figure out the best solution

Neuro-affirming therapy means that as therapists, we believe that differences in how people think, learn, communicate and experience the world are not problems to be fixed. Rather than trying to “fix” you or make you fit a neurotypical standard, therapy focuses on understanding how your brain works and helping you build a life that supports your unique needs, strengths and challenges.
Definitely. Therapy can help you understand how your brain works and develop strategies that support it rather than constantly fighting against it. Many people seek support for challenges such as overwhelm, burnout, emotional regulation, organization, procrastination, task initiation, masking and self-criticism. Our goal is never to change who you are but to help you navigate life in a way that feels more sustainable and authentic
No. Many of our clients come to therapy because they suspect they may be neurodivergent or because they can strongly relate to experiences associated with ADHD or autism. You don’t need a formal diagnosis to explore these patterns, better understand yourself and receive support for the challenges you’re facing.
Absolutely. Many neurodivergent people have experiences that can contribute to their chronic stress, overwhelm and burnout. At the same time, some traits associated with neurodivergence can sometimes look similar to trauma-related symptoms. Therapy can help untangle these experiences, understand how they interact and support you in responding to both with greater self-awareness and compassion.
I don’t know if any therapist can answer that question in advance. A solid year of therapy can often make a decent change for most people. Some come for less and some for more. It depends on what you’re working through, how long patterns have been in place and what you want your life to look like on the other side of them.
Finding the right therapist is hard! If you’re ready to get in touch with us, we invite you to schedule a free, no-pressure consultation with one of our therapists. You’ll get the chance to share what’s going on, ask any open questions and see if we would be a good match.
